Dr. Bartels is the best OBGYN Ive ever seen. He takes a lot of time during appointments and actively listens. He was compassionate and thoughtful when I miscarried a baby, and engaged and joyful when I had my rainbow baby. He performed a C-section for me, and both the procedure and recovery were a lot easier and more comfortable than my previous 2 C-sections (performed by other doctors).He is both knowledgeable and intuitive, and I quickly found myself trusting his judgment 100%. Highly recommend!

Dr. Bartels was my OBGYN when I was pregnant with my daughter. He is such a nice person and a very good doctor. He truly cares to get to know his patients and gives a lot of time for questions during his appointments. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He also delivers at Tacoma General which was a really, really good experience. His staff is also so great, both the doctor himself or nurses responds to questions quickly in the online portal. I also received very good help with nursing after giving birth. I am devastated to live in another state now so I can’t use Dr. and his staff again for this pregnancy.

Dr. Bartels is extremely helpful and understanding. He has been my OB for a while now and just did a tubal removal on me. He was so patient and just all around helpful! His presence is always enjoyable. Never have I had any problems! So thank you for that Sir!

I’m not sure it’s possible to find a better doctor than Dr. Bartels. He’s kind, respectful, listens to and seeks resolution to any and all concerns. His entire staff is wonderful as well. 10/10 recommend to anyone I know seeking an OB/GYN

Its so hard to find a good doctor and Im proud to say I succeeded in that, at least for my obgyn. After seeing many obgyns for my latest pregnancy, a friend recommended Bartels. Never been happier with a choice Ive made . He was great the entire pregnancy, office staff is amazing. During my pregnancy he was actually there throughout the entire experience which was totally unexpected. After my last baby I expected him to drop in right at the end to deliver, but he was a friendly face throughout the entire process and it wasnt his call weekend and my pregnancy wasnt high rise . Just so pleased with this doctor and his staff .

Dr. Bartels was recommended to me by a friend. At my very first visit he made me feel comfortable and thoroughly explained all I needed to know. I needed a procedure done and he was amazing at the hospital. He was very kind and professional. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Thank you Dr. Bartels!!! 5 star Doctor in my book.

I am so happy with dr bartels. He was so kind and nice and about my pregnancy he makes our discussions about what i need and want as much as possible i do not feel dismissed or blown off like i did with the dr who delivered my first. It takes so much stress off your pregnancy when u dont feel anxious about speaking to your dr and that is exactly what dr bartels and his staff provides he is amazing

If you get the opprotunity of becoming Dr. Bartels patient he is absolutely WONDERFUL. He really listens to you talk, doesnt tell you the your wrong or what your feeling is nothing...he takes you and your babys health seriously. Super super super nice and friendly, and hes always the Dr. you see, Ive been to places where Im suppose to see one obgyn and they give me over to someone else. But its him every time. He ask questions and explains to you his thinking on whats going on. The receptionist are very friendly and quickly remember you name =) BIG PLUS. IF YOUR INSURANCE COVERS HIM, YOU WANT TO BE HIS PATIENT. BEST DOC HANDS DOWN. I have have 2 kids third on the way and out of all three he is the best, and Im very picky.

He is an amazing physician and his staff is incredible. They all were very kind and professional. I recommend anyone looking for a OBGYN provider to go to him!!
